Simple Way To Cook Halal Sirloin Steak
- 1 (12 oz) sirloin steak
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- Take the steak out of the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about an hour.
- In a small bowl, mix together the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Season both sides of the steak with the spice mixture, using your hands to press the spices into the meat.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over high heat.
- Once the skillet is hot, add the olive oil and butter.
