Our standard delivery charge for UK mainland deliveries (includes Scottish Highlands) is from £5.99.  Standard delivery within 1-3 working days (this does not include Saturday). Delivery charges are calculated based on weight, simply add the products you would like to your basket and add your delivery address to see the delivery cost.

Any UK mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands) order placed before 10am from Monday to Thursday will normally be delivered within 2 days before 7pm for APC Overnight and 9pm for DPD (Wednesday-Saturday), with the exception of orders which include Fresh Fish and Bulk Orders. The earliest delivery day after a bank holiday is Wednesday.

The following postcodes are classed as Scottish Highlands & Islands and delivery may take additional 24hrs: AB31-35, AB36-38, AB41-45, AB51-54, AB55-56, BT1-99, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-10, KW18-99, PA21-40, PH18-29, PH32-33, PH45-48.

Please choose either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday as your delivery day if you live in one of the above postcodes to ensure that your order is delivered on time.

eFoodsDirect deliveries are made by its courier partners (up to 2 working days).

We will deliver our products in specially designed cardboard boxes to anywhere in the mainland UK. The selected courier collects the completed orders from eFoodsDirect depot and delivers them directly to your door. Customers can give additional delivery instructions for their order online at the time of purchase. Deliveries are attempted at least once on the day of delivery. The selected courier may deliver the package to a neighbouring house either two doors up or down from the delivery address. Full instructions for collection are posted on the instruction card at the delivery address. If it is not possible to deliver the package on the day of delivery the courier company will return the package to the local depot and attempt to deliver on the next working day. Thereafter parcels must be collected from the local delivery depot. If not collected parcels are returned to eFoodsDirect depot. In the case for DPD the parcels are attempted on day 1 and if delivery fails, delivery will be attempted the next day.

How We Package your Order for Delivery

Your shopping is carefully picked and packed by our dedicated team of pickers on the day of your delivery.

Your meat and frozen order is kept cool in transit because we use isothermal insulated foil bags which is packed in double wall cardboard box, furthermore your chilled and frozen products is packed along with specially designed ice packs.

The insulated cardboard box is leak-proof and sturdy. It keeps the inside cool. Our ice packs are made with a water-based gel, which is frozen and packed with the meat and frozen products. This will keep the produce at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.

Storage of your Fresh Meat and Fish Products

You have purchased a fresh product, which must be kept refrigerated ideally at a temperature of 5°C or below.

If you choose to freeze your fresh product, please freeze on the day of delivery. In order to maintain the product quality when freezing please make sure the product is kept in the original packaging. It is advisable to label the products with the date the product is placed in the freezer. After freezing, the product should be consumed within three months to ensure quality. Please completely defrost thoroughly before cooking. Do not refreeze the product after it’s been defrosted.
